Mission Statement

DIVINE GLORY CICU Ltd is dedicated to providing a diverse range of financial products that empower members of the various Societies that make up the Union. We aim to offer affordable loans through educational and empowerment initiatives. Our commitment is anchored in integrity, inclusivity, and sustainable practices to foster economic resilience and quality of life for all our members.

Brief Background

Divine Glory CICU Ltd is a conglomerate of twenty seven Societies.

From the start, we welcomed both academic and non-academic staff. This inclusivity has allowed us to build a strong and diverse membership base, now comprising over 2,000 members from all parts of the university.
For over 20 years, First Co-op was the only cooperative society at the university, establishing itself as a key support system for its members. Our dedication to excellence has earned us multiple awards as the best-performing departmental cooperative society in Osun State.
In 2023, we introduced the concept of Associate membership. This new initiative aims to extend our services and products to people in the immediate and larger community surrounding the university who the university does not employ. By doing so, we hope to help even more individuals manage their finances and improve their quality of life.
Today, we continue offering a range of financial products and essential commodities to benefit our members. Our focus remains on providing reliable services and fostering a supportive community, ensuring that everyone can thrive together.

Members' Voice

Cooperative Financial Transactions System does not have to be a nest of corruption, it ought to be a network-leverage for Members to climb heights they would never have been able to climb all alone. This Society is out to take care of the drudgery of Book-keeping; so that Decision Makers can have greatest trust from Members, be freed to honestly concentrate on productivity and giving real Values to every Stakeholder of the Society.
